Boon-docking between Chicago and South Bend Needed

Looking for a spot to boon dock tomorrow night somewhere between Portage on the Indiana Toll Road and South Bend Indiana. We need to stop at a RV surplus place in Elkhart IN. to look for a replacement window that was broken out while returning on the Alcan last week. If there is a Walmart in South Brnd I just want to confirm RV's are OK to overnight. Otherwise I could park at the rest area / truck stop near the I-80 / I-90 interchange (Portage). If I can help it I don't like parking by running semi's while I try to sleep.
Thanx

Superslif,
Check allstays.com for wally docking and other free places to park overnight.
Check with store management about where to park.
Sometimes the store posts no parking signs because they are having trouble with people "camping" for several days at a time. Sometimes there are local ordinances.
Just Parking overnight may be OK.

FYI, Walmart sells a special edition of the Rand Mcnally road atlas that lists all Walmart and Sams Club locations and phone numbers. I have found it very helpful.

Yes, I am a dedicated Wally Docker.

The allstays website is kept up to date by the users and it is free to use.
At best, Books are to date when published.

Thanx. I kind of thought Allstays was a hotel review and reservation app. According to Allstays the western most South Bend Wally World has "no over night parking" signs, but the poster there from Aug said if you ask you can park.

That was the same here in the Iowa Wally World were, there were signs, we were set to leave but for the heck of it we asked and they said it was fine. Ended up being 4-5 rigs in the lot last night.
