Boondock, Between Bryce Canyon & Grand Tetons

Need a Place to Boondock about halfway between Bryce Canyon National Park and the Grand Tetons.

Also, any places to fill up with water and/or dump.

This is our first long trip, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I can't help with a halfway spot, but I can give you 2 great boondocking sites near Bryce. I have found the Forest Service offices to be very helpful if you will stop in and ask about camping sites. They have great maps too.

Ruby's campground just outside Bryce Canyon has a dumpsite for $5 that has good tasting water.

Walmart in Evanston, WY has a big lot but lots of truckers... If you take the scenic route along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (Route 150) in Utah, there are a lot of places along the road. The best are just before the summit on the left.

We found a clearing on the road from The Grand Tetons to Yellowstone. Stayed there a few days. Wonderful location and adventures. This was about ten years ago, but I'd be surprised if you cannot find something similar.
