I did not have time this past spring to run a 30 amp RV service at our newly purchased Florida home in Flagler Beach. So I hooked up to a 20 amp outlet and ran the residential fridge, an ARB Portable Freezer, one A/C and reduced the Inverter/Battery Charger setup to 15 amps incoming shore service.

Occasionally the CB would trip but for the most part it ran for about 10 weeks that way until we headed north.

When I return this November I will be installing both a 30 amp and a 50 amp RV hookup at two locations on my property. The 50 amp will be under my house which has room for my coach and the 30 amp will be at the rear of the property for family and friends visiting for a spell.

Stayed there in August - $16 & $19 with 50 amp & water

Yes, I can run my ac on a 15 amp circuit. Just got back from Lebanon Oregon. Stayed at a friends house with ac on all the time for 2 weeks. The only time when it would kick the breaker was when they would use the ancient micro wave in their kitchen. I could run my coffee maker and have the ac on and not blow the breaker. I had to install a new AC unit several years ago and have found that it draws less amps than the original unit.

Is that the tallest hill in the county? I'd like a nice view. I'm parked near a compost pile right now, so a little "natural smell" don't bother me much.

Me thinks us all sharing the 15 amp circuit there MIGHT be a problem.

Count me in though. I'm in Tampa so it's not too far. I'll bring some popcorn

We stayed at the Der Ritterhof off US 2 in Leavenworth, WA for a night. I saw an open field next to them and ask if they were going to add more rooms. They said no, they use that for RVs especially during Octoberfest. It's all boon docking but that's fine.

Yes, but just barely for height I won't be able to do any work on top of the roof while it's park in the RV Port.

If I need to do anything on top it will have to come out into the rear yard.

Are we starting with the nearest folks first? If so then I may win!

(Of course Richard doesn't know me, so he likely doesn't want us pulling up in his driveway, but we won't go in to that right now...)

Just curious, is that a "flood" foundation?

It's the new government hight requirement for houses in flood zones.

Got to be ready for the 100 year storm.
