We will be arriving in Seffner Florida late at night and was wondering where we could boondock for the night. I have heard that the Flying J does not allow it but maybe the Cracker Barrel does? Has anyone stayed there?

We will be checking into Lazy days campground the following morning. Did you mean the campground or the sales division?

I think they lock a gate between Cracker Barrel and Lazy Days parking around eight or nine blocking access to the sales and service facility. At Lazy Days campground there is a large parking/holding area as you first enter. I expect you could overnight there awaiting the office opening. I suggest giving the CG a call. They can tell you for sure.

there are some (some do not) walmarts in tampa that the free allstays website says allow overnight parking. the seffner walmart does not allow overnight parking according to allstays (it never hurts to ask). there are 3 truck stops in tampa that have parking and dump stations per allstays.
this allstays website is up to date because the users of the site update it by email.

I like the idea of parking in the holding area at Lazy days. Don't want to be searching around Tampa for a place to stay late at night. Either we go straight to Seffner or else we will stay at the Walmart in Bushnell. I will call Lazy days and see about that holding area. I would be willing to pay a fee if we could actually park that close.
Thanks for the replies.... I'm still open to more suggestions.... keep em coming .....

If your going for service they issues parking passes which gets you past the security gate between CB and the service area.

There is also a strip mall just up the road with a Publix etc. Not sure but you may try there.

Ended up staying at the Walmart in Bushnell one hour before Seffner. Checked out the area and it turns out that you can stay at the TA travel center right next to Lazy days ( separated from trucks) just make sure you indicate that you are not leaving your unit unattended. Thanks for the replies.
