The handbook FREE gives information and GPS for a lot of locations on the Washington and Oregon coast. We found a couple that we really liked and will dig these out if you are interested.
Clallam County has several really nice ones on Straits of Juan de Fuca east and west of Port Angeles. We really liked the one at Dungeness Point.
The State of Washington Forestry Service has several dispersed CGs to north and south of US 101 before it turns south at Beaver.
Forest Service has a number of CGs right off 101 but really large rigs might have problems with some. We have a 34' 5th wheel and we could get into most.
There are a number more headed south on 101 to Oregon border.
Oregon has a lot of state parks but they are booked months in advanced. The Forest Service has a number of camps right near the coast. Siuslaw National Forest has 40 CGs. Oregonians love to go camping and you better get to one by Thursday morning. Oregon Dunes NRA has 3 or 4 camp sites. The one we liked best was at Cape Perpetua.
Let us know if you want more information.

'the handbook'? I'd love the GPS coords of some of the places. Especially those that can take large rigs. We will be heading down the coast for the next few weeks.

Wright's guide did not work for us
Don't travel in the off season and expect this guide to work. Sites marked open all year were closed. It's a 2015 edition.

Don's book has some information oddities that need to be known before you buy it. See some of what I mean here:

Check for BLM land where camping is allowed . I know of many in the North coast section of the state. Nicolai Mt . OHV , California Barrel , etc.
