Boondocking NE of Bouse, AZ

Want to explore the area and looking for a good location on the East\Northeast side of Bouse. How's the camping over there? Have camped many times along Plumosa road and looking for a similar area.

OK, you stumped me. I have lived in AZ for 45 years and never heard of the place. I see it is near Quartsite. From the looks of google maps, you can park anywhere.

There isn't much for quite a ways NE of Bouse as I recall, and nothing like either side of the Plamosa mountain range. There is a wide spot at of two roads about 3 miles NE of Bouse that would accommodate your rig. Further east of town is the old "Secret Tank Base" that Patton's troops trained at during WWII, and you could find some spots along the Swansea road.

In my opinion the most convenient boondocking near Bouse is SW of town along both sides of Plamosa Road. Our favorite area is just west of the cattle guard and west. No particular reason, just where we always have set up with a good view, TV works from Phoenix for news and weather, and our cell phone even works.

Thanks. It looks like there's parking at the Swansea Rd Y but in Google Earth you really can't tell what it's like and I know it's right on the Parker 400 race course so I wonder about the condition of the road. Have camped many times along Plumosa west of Bouse. Great area. This trip I want to explore Swansea\Rawhide Mountains with the side x side and was hoping to find a place a bit closer to stage from but will probably camp along Plumosa close to Bouse.
