Need a place to boondock for a couple of days between MamouthCave and Bowling Green Ky. The Natl park at the cave charges 18 bucks a day for drycamping in the parking lot.(no Hookups)
Thanks OB

There are a number of campgrounds in that area, but if you're looking for someplace free there's always Camping World in Bowling Green. Probably a 30-40 min. drive to the cave, though.

If you're a member, Passport America has Singing Hills Campground in Cave City. PA members pay 1/2 price, although there may be restrictions. Don't know a thing about it except that it popped up on our DeLorme Streets and Trips map overlay.

I just came home after a visit to the Cave they are a little pricey. But a free camp I did not see.Remember the price of fuel the cave is a way off the main road so You may spend on fuel what You will pay to camp.I had a V.I.P. site full hook ups $40.00 a night We stayed 2 nights used electric heat and all the other as in fridge etc.no propane used.just 2 sites with elect. not cheap but I enjoy a break from the Booning...Good Luck...Bushman
