We have over nighted at the Camping World in Wilsonville (just south of Portland, OR). Asked inside if that was OK and were told sure. Another couple of miles south on I-5 is a Walmart that also allows overnight parking.

CW is a business, they have the option of allowing people to stay on their property or not. Just like any other business including Wal*Mart. If they are allowing people to stay then it's NOT "freeloading"

You may be able to PARK in a CW lot, you may be able to OVERNIGHT in a CW lot, but unless there is a CW in otherwise wild, natural countryside, you cannot BOONDOCK, where there is no boondocks!

Ed
Who knows that boondocks originated in the Philippines.
Maybe you'll thank me later.

I frequently use Camping World for overnight stays when in transit to destination. The Albuquerque one actually has a few hookups inside the fence that you can connect to from the parking lot. Good security in the parking lot too. They will stop by and ask if you are staying for the night then leave you alone for the rest of the night. I have also stayed at CW in Denver, OK City, and St George, all without any problems.

In some instances, commercial campgrounds close to a Camping World, have complained that overnighters at Camping World have impacted their business (the commercial campground), and as a result, a few CW's have changed their overnight policy - I think the CW on AL 59 south is one such location.

FL Boondocking at CW ? Anyone know ? .....

Anyonr one know if the Orlando/Kissimee CW allows overnight parking or boondocking? What about OTHER areas of Florida CW's (if there are any, i did not check their store locations yet).

We stayed at the Camping World in Tallahassee, Florida in September. I called first and asked. They said no problem. Even had 30 amp.

We too stay in Dothan on our way to Florida. Great friendly people. Usually end up buying something.
