Hi all,

I have kind of an unusual question. When my wife and I are boondocking on public streets,
is it illegal for us to be intimate in our motorhome? I know it seems like a stupid question but it is illegal in a motor vehicle so.......

No, I doubt that would be illegal. The coach being a house on wheels and all that. However depending on where you are parked, your parking maybe illegal.

And, my wife would never know the difference.

Man, I believe I would have just used my best judgement and not asked that question.

Doc, I'm sorry if I offended you. I think I just got spooked after seeing the movie Crash and hearing the list of possible "crimes" the police officer recites in the movie.
To be honest with you, I haven't been able to get a definitive answer from law enforcement and that is what worries me.Again, I ididn't mean to offend and tried to be as polite as I could.

You didn't offend me for goodness sake. My answer was tongue-in-cheek (or tried to be)
Now I'll try for a real answer. I was a police officer for nearly 27 years with a local city/county department. You would never get any static from any of our guys an such a matter. The only thing that might get their attention is (a) complaint from neighbors or citizen on 'strange noises', (b) illegally parked on the street, (c) parked on someone else's propert, (d) Some sort of indecency in public view, (e) you were running a business like the guy at the Tampa Bay football games was doing with the girls from his club
(please notice the winking smiley on e.)

Hey Doc,
Thanks for taking the time to answer. I'll make sure we follow all of the guidelines you mentioned.I must have missed the Tampa Bay story!

I suggest you make sure your outside awning lights are off too. When the trailer moves, so do they.
