Finally ...

Finally found a good boondocking location ... and, only 5 hours north of Toronto. Here's proof ...

And, I was not alone - the area is large enough that there were about 12 trailers in the area yet you can see no one was near my RV. May be able to get back there this Fall!! Searched the area via Google and saw some possibilities. Rode my bicycle in to check out the road condition (it's an unmaintained road) and that's when I found the large, flat, open area right beside the lake.

The only boon docking site that I know of, North of Toronto, is the back parking lot of the Casino in Rollo. You have a much better view.

You don't have to go quite that far. There's some great spots in the Muskoka, Haliburton and Bancroft areas.

I'm not sure the parking lot at Casino Rama quite qualifies as boondocking either. ;-)
