Good information!
Where do you get the permits and is it a different price for non-Florida residents?

You can get the permits when ever you want, Just remember they are good for one year from date of purchase. I bought mine Nov 1st.
Price is the same for everyone.

Boondocking means dry camping i.e. no hookups. Camping in the boonies. Doesnt necessarily mean its entirely free of cost. Often you are free to park where you want.

Is there a non-video way to get this information, for those of us who fulltime and don't have unlimited data?

PM the OP is one way. Can also go to the youtube site and see if there is more descriptive info there. And also might be contact info for the OP there. Can look at the comments on youtube too. Maybe take a device and watch it where your internet is free.

Ioverlander.com shows a number of places to boondock in Florida. Ocala NationalForest is quite good. Ioverlander notes that there are dispersed sites there. We stayed at a National Forest CG called Shanty Pond with the Boondocker group of Escapees. It was "primitive", no water or power hookups but there was a water point, vault toilets, and probably a dump station.
