Hi all,
we've decided to get 2 honda eu2000i generators.
As I have a bad back(real bad)from time to time i'll be leaving them in the back of the truck and running 2-25' cords back to them to plug into.

Will doing this lessen the power i'll get to the trailer? my main concern is running the airconditioner(13.5k)?

thanks for your time,

Not a problem if the gauge of the wire is sufficient. An RV 30A extension cord with 10 gauge wire will deliver 30 amps up to about a 100 feet. A heavy duty 12 gauge cord (available at Home Depot and such) should handle your 2 KW (less than 20A) power supply nicely at 25 feet.

I do not have the generators you have but I thought they made a kit to join the two together. Then you would only be running one cord to your camper. Might want to check on this because running two does not sound right.

One 25' cord does not make it to the back of the truck..hence 2(25') cords.
First respondent answered my question.
thanks all.
