I just high-tailed it from the mountains in central AZ to southern CA, staying one step ahead of freezing weather. It was about 40 here this morning. How cold is it where you are at?

I've been in Deming, NM since Thanksgiving, working on my ranch. Its been very pleasant weather, 70 days and 40 nights, and intermittant wind. It did get below freezing last night and I notice my water hose is frozen this morning, but the sun is already out and it should thaw quickly. Might get my heat tape out for tonight. I'm one who would rather be a bit cold than a bit hot. SW NM winters and Black Hills SD summer.

31 this Am when I looked at around 7:30 and now it is up to 55 at 2:10 in the afternoon. Bright and sunny, no clouds. Perfect day to mow my 3/4 acre. Rained two days ago so not so much dust. Oh yeah, Sacramento CA.
