Minnesota

We are visiting old friends on Washington Island in Wisconsin and then want to head up to the Voyageurs National Park area. Does anyone have any suggestions on boondocking areas in North Minnesota?

Check out the dispersed camping here

Minnesota State Forest Camping

In the Boundary Waters area ask locally. Along canoeing rivers and lakes there are parking lots where people leave their vehicles while on canoe trips.
