OK I have been doing some reading on here and I guess I missed it. There is lots of talk about power when boon docking and I understand the need for it. What I don't see is water. What do you all do for your fresh water ad waste water needs? This might be dumb but please remember I'm new to this and never been camping in a RV before.

A lot will depend on your tank capacities and willingness to conserve water. My RV carries 92 gallons of fresh water, black tank hold 62 gallons and grey holds 72 gallons. We can last a week with water conservations, (short showers) and using paper products as much as possible. Your results may differ. We have never boon docked more than 8 days so don't know how long we could actually last.

I can carry 70 gal. of fresh water in my tanks. I get about 2 weeks out of 40-50 gals.
Some areas may have water avail. so I can top off the tanks when needed. I carry those 6 gal jugs from walmart to be able to cart water from hard to get at spigots or wells.
My black tank carries 50 gallons so I have enough room for about 3 weeks of use. I go easy on the water level used to flush.
Baby wipes are great if you boondocking in the woods. Swims in ponds are good too Sort of like tent camping but with luxury.
If I am dry camping with others ( fairgrounds/shows etc..) I will use the shower every two to three days but there is usually water in that type of camping so it's not a problem.

Those new paper plates are great ( dixie ultra ) they microwave with water and don't get soggy. Doing dishes uses too much water. If I use a regular plate or cup I try to wipe it with paper towels first and a very light rinse and wipe. Everyone has their own cup/plate to take care of.

Everyone will get different results, I could conserve more but I usually don't do more than 3 weeks in the woods, and I have been doing it enough I can pretty much judge what to use as I go. I find the people I take with me use more than I do or they forget to really conserve. Leaving faucet dripping etc...
Shaving.. heat small amount of water in a sauce pan and dump in sink. Running the water from the hot water tank uses too much water.
Lots of little things depending on how crazy you want to get

A good addition to your RV is a "water Bladder" which will transport 45 gals. I rigged a 12 volt shurflo pump to do the transfer. We booddock for 4 months every winter. Love it. good luck.

Where did you get the water bladder? They don't seem to be available here in Yuma which surprises me.

Conserve. I am installing a 45 gal bladder in the bed of my truck. it is higher than the fresh tank in my 5r a 1/2i n hose from the bladder to the outlet of the fresh tank with a isolation valve. This should transfer water to the fresh tank. Where we camp on the beach there are outhouses the boys use.

I plan on boondocking close to streams and springs. I've been looking for a 12volt pump for pumping water from streams to fill my 50 gal tank after I get to where I'm camping. 50 gals of water weighs alot when you are driving around. I also carry gallon milk jugs that I use for coffee and drinking. What I put in my tank I use for shower,toilet, and dishes.

Fill the water tank and drain all other tanks. Conserve and when you need to dump go do it.

And you're not worried about bacteria or other things building up in your tanks?
Filtering it would be advised.

No I said it's only used for showers, toilet, and dishes. I take 10 gallon milk jugs of water from home for drinking and coffee. Being from Pennsylvania when you go hunting 90% of the people will drink from a spring or stream if they are thirsty and I never got sick from it yet over 59 yrs. It's also not highly populated around here either. Other places I'd have to think about it.
