I find it interesting how some towns try and regulate where RV's may or may not stay . In the end they always snooker themselves. An average RVer can outsmart most any town government with little to no effort. !

Reno and places to stay

We didn't get hassled when we stayed at Baldini's either (In Sparks). We have also stayed at the TA truck stop on McCarren blvd. there is a casino right next door and a very nice walking path around that little man-made lake next to that. If you don't mind the noise of trucks, it makes a nice place to light for a few days. We were truckers once so we try to park at the far end of the lot and back in just in case a truck is next to us. That way we can sleep at night without the noise being too distracting. Never got hassled there either..it's in Sparks too. We have told the security people that they don't need our business if they approach us. It does make one angry as we usually eat and play. that should more than make up for us parking there

It' July 2014. Any relenting of the no parking rule yet. They don't need our business at all if they insist on no parking on their lots. Let's show em we can drag down their profits.

I would expect the rule to stay in effect at least until after hot August Nights is over.
