Oh, where to stay in CO

Hi all, looking for a place to boondock close to Pueblo Co. We will be visiting family next month there, but they have not been there too long either. If there are campgrounds that I could use my senior pass would be ok too.
Any places I should visit would be nice to know also. Thank You

This response is pretty late, and I don't have a lot to offer except what All-Stays says. I do know Pueblo can be blazing hot in the summer! I can't imagine comfortably dry camping anywhere close to town, but there are mountains to the west with dispersed campsites. It might be good to call the Forest Service to see. Personally, I will take Pueblo in the summer only with AC.
