We have decided to shift our route to the north a bit and stop at the Wal Mart in Ruidoso instead.

Smart move going a bit further North. The climb/descent between Alamogordo and Cloudcroft would be a memorable experience in an RV ...especially a towable!

We ended up in the Wal Mart parking lot in Ruidoso Downs, it was a very nice place to stay.
