Sam's Town is on Boulder Hwy.The best deal in town. Free shuttles to the strip make it work fine. We have been staying there for many years when we visit Lost Wages.

[QUOTE=SteveLevin;2173714]We've stayed at Circus Circus a number of times; there's so little shade in general in Vegas that if it's 103 "in the shade" it's going to be 140 in the direct sun and closer to the surface of the sun inside the RV.

Yes, but it is a dry heat.

So is my oven, but I don,t go sticking my head in my oven.

If you like to camp for free in as many places as possible... you may want to check out joining OvernightRVPark.com. It's the best resource we've found for finding (confirmed/verified) places to park overnight all over the country.

Have fun... Vegas is a hoot! Can't beat the people watching!

Arizona Charlie's is just up the street from Sams Town and in my opinion is much nicer.
