We are at Big River RV Park - across the Colorado River from Parker and about 30/40 miles from the Q. The New Christy Minstrels will be at the Quartzsite Improvement Assoc. the 13th of this month. They are fun.

The last 2 weeks of Jan are the world's largest RV rally in QZ, I'd be there if I could.. The group I camp with stays in the Tyson's Wash area about 3 miles south of town on the west side of the road. Closer than that I can't give you w/o GPS and I don't have the numbers handy.

When I'm there. it's the easiest group to find in all of QZ But alas that won't be for a couple of years yet. (likely 2015). Last time I was there many folks stopped by and asked about my site marker. (heck you could see it from the bridge over I-10)

My wife and I are in the Phx area without the RV but considering a day visit. Is it worth it and if so, is there a hub of activity or a specific area we should visit?

I hate to be the one to give you the bad news, but one day will not be enough. The whole area there will be a hub of activity.

Have fun and wear comfortable shoes.
