Roof

Having problem with bubbles forming under tape around two skylights on one of my slides. Removed the tape to find roof is swelling from reaction to something in the adhesive of the tape.

You could go the forum for your RV if we have one on this site and ask there. There might be folks that had the same problem and they can tell you exactly what is needed to repair it.

What kind of tape, etrnabond. I hade to remove some I had put down as it was not sticking correctly because the previous owner put down some silicone coating. Where the silicon was not on the EPDM roof it stuck just fine. Maybe not same issue your having but thought I would let you know.

. One thing I noticed that two of the tape strips didn't match the others and there was no damage under those two strips. The other tape looks like it adhesive reacted with the rubber roof and it swelled up bad! This was a factory install around the skylights with tape because the lap seal on previous models ate away at the thin skylights.
