daveshan Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: Durango CO Posts: 175	That road is always well maintained, Animas Forks just a bit farther past the Eureka ore mill is a huge draw for the sedan crowd along with the hundreds of ATV/Jeep folks that come here. The road crews make sure access is good at least that far along the loop. There is camping just below the mill along the Animas river and you can pull off and boondock in many spots.
