Solar installers in Arizona

I am looking for an honest shop to possibly upgrade my inverter/charger and install a solar system on my 2000 Windsor. I have read in a few threads that dealers aren't running heavy enough guage wire and selling stuff that doesn't work. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Cory P.

Thank you.

I am looking to pay an installer in AZ to do the install. I was hoping somebody had used one that knew what they where doing and could recommend them.

Thanks,

Cory

Hi Cory,
Try finding HandyBob and see if he can help you.
He really knows what he is doing. I would guess he would even be willing
to show you his install.

You might check out this mobile RV service. I've used him for several things and his work is excellent. He's in the Prescott area. I don't know if he does any work in Chandler.

There are very few so called solar experts that know how to make a solar system work up to it's potential. Most are just not interested in learning how. Their only interest is $$$$$$ and not in doing good quality work.

If you see an RV with 4 solar panels in bright sun light and they are running the generator, you see a sick solar system, unless they are using the A/C. My estimation is that more than 85% of the RV solar systems are sick, maby more. They work but not very well.

See my post under boondocking, "Solar That Really Works". YOU BECOME THE EXPERT AND DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE WRONG!!!! Have your solar system installed the right way the first time.

I am presently boondocking with Handy Bob of the solar blog. He knows what it is all about. Read his blog and learn as I did (read it 3 times) and I fixed my system before I even met Bob. He is a very nice man.

To the point, I would recommend The Sun Works, at the Slabs.

Web site is at The Sun Works

Thanks everyone. I'm going to reread Handy Bobs thread along with all the others on here.

When I find my installer I will be sure to get what I want!

Thanks again,

Cory
