thought I'd share a couple of boondocking photos ... one on the eastern shore of Lake Superior and the other just south of a northern Ontario town called Hornepayne.
Weather co-operated when I was at Lake Superior but was constantly drizzling and cloudy near Hornepayne. The Lake Superior site was only suitable for a Class B and had found it years ago so knew exactly where it was. The Hornepayne site was spotted from the highway and was a municipal park but without any facilities other than pit toilets and 1 picnic table.
Only spent one night at each location but got some excellent photos of the Milky Way and the stars. I invite you to a short 4 min video I made (best viewed on YouTube in HD 1080p):

I was waaaay up north last week - that's why the colours are changing ... and, it actually snowed twice during the same morning . Now that I'm back in Toronto, everything is still green and temps in the low-mid 70s.
Really? A class B with a slide out? Very cool!
And your choice of location is excellent as well.

the slide out expands the sleeping/dining area and makes a big difference in not feeling claustrophic - it's rare that I don't use the slide out. Plus a bunk bed/storage area above the cab that expands - very useful.
