Oops I hit the wrong button........Another place is up constellation mine road North of 60 on the east side of town. If you have a toad just drive around these areas and take a look. The dirt road is on the left off Vulture mine rd.
Good Luck !!

I think that is it Rusty. We have hauled horse trailers out there and I have seen Motorhomes camped out there as well. I hope you have a toad with you because there are some neat dirt roads to explore around there as well. If you go all the way north on Vulture Mine Rd to the Highway 89/93 go north to Scenic Loop Rd which is a dirt road a few ? miles north of Vulture Mine Rd.
For some local color, have breakfast at the Horseshoe Cafe in town. There is a wee bitty Lady that owns it who is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Just tell her that one of the Cowboys from the April Ride told you to come.
If you want a small campground with hookups I have stayed at the Desert Cypress Tailer Park, 610 Jack Burden Rd. across the bridge behind McDonalds. If need be you can call me at 818 760 5275

Thanks Y'All.

Chuck, no toad, just my F250 4x4. Plan on exploring the area and maybe do a little prospecting.

Rusty

PS I do like finding mom & pop restaurants in out of the way places.
