Basically, in a crowded location if you have to stop and ask yourself whether anything you're doing is too loud then... it is.

1 of the rules here is no gennies running, I wonder how loud that is???? My patio is maybe 50-75 feet from said noise, I get to pay rent and listen to it all day long so don't feel bad. Buy the way I can hear it now as I am typing this.

Have a great weekend,

Now it's a furnace to

Just as an aside, if you do have a propane appliance that is roaring loud enough to be heard at a distance then you are probably running too lean and should adjust the burner if you want best performance.

Wife and I went to look at a 94' Wanderlodge that was for sale. The first I noticed when I stepped out of the car was the Primus propane heater howling....very annoying.

Talking

There was talk about loud generators and I am saying that the neighbors furnace is loud. I didn't say anything about his genie except wondering how loud it might be. They want us to use there power (parks) and not our genies.
Its a fact. We have been camping going on 6 years and this is the first time I've heard a furnace that is this loud. I'm not asking for anything just stating a fact..
Going too be in the 80ties so problem solved.
JMO,
Tim

years ago I went to a race at Fontana on a temporary circuit set up in the parking lot. All the other tracks I've run at had electricity available. the car in my avatar has a 'total loss" system - no alternator, so the battery has to be charged up between sessions.

Soon, my mechanic and I went to the closest Costco and bought one of those 5K open frame generators. filled up the oil, put gas in it, fired it up and it was SO LOUD we got the stink eye - at a race track!

While were trying to get it to stay in one place (it was shaking so bad it was walking across our paddock space) it suddenly lurched and shut off. completely locked up solid!

What a lifesaver. We took it back to Costco, got a refund, and bought a Kipor - which worked pretty good after I fixed all the Chinese quality control problems.
