Your RIGHT to boondock (Wallydock)
Everybody needs to bookmark or print this out. Evidently your right to boondock is superior to the private property rights of the property owners or the ordinance making authority of local government.......

I'm thinking it would take you less than a minute to call both the police and a towing company to have me removed.
If the business owner and/or property owner doesn't want RV'ers to overnite on their property, I don't want to be there. Move on to another location to boondock or find a campground.

What part of:
2. Obtain permission from a qualified individual.
3. Obey posted regulations
don't you understand?
It's a good neighbor policy that is meant to facilitate a positive response to permission requests and discourage negative local ordinances on overnight parking.
"Everybody needs to bookmark or print this out." I agree with you there! " Evidently your right to boondock is superior to the private property rights of the property owners or the ordinance making authority of local government......." Sorry, didn't see that coming. Good Luck with that.
PS ne more thing... "Please do not take offense to this letter; it is only provided as a reminder that RVers must be perceived as good neighbors, or there will be more pressure to institute state, county, and local ordinances to prohibit parking on private business property."

I’m guessing by the emoji at the bottom that this is a sarcastic post. Good guidelines but nothing that gives anyone rights above the property owner.

Misuse of the word "right".
It really should be "...support your need/desire/want/etc. to park..."

...the reality: any business or property owner has the 'right' to demand or ask that you leave their property, REGARDLESS if you are in a car, truck, semi, rv, motorcycle, on your bicycle, or just walking. Your mode of transportation is not the issue.
Walmart and others are also, though, reluctant to run off their customers, but the reality is that they DO have the right - it's their property to do with as they please, though they RARELY will make that demand.
None of us have the RIGHT, but we many times have the PRIVILEGE ... and we very much appreciate it.

EXACTLY...........
Poorly written letter.
And to think it was probably put together after many committee meetings brainstorming/benchmarking and then sent to Attorney(s) for approval
Intent of letter was to promote 'RVrs Good Neighbor Policy'----a 'Code of Conduct'
In other words.......don't be a jerk

Last time I checked driving was a privilege. Elevating parking to a "right" is a pretty far leap. If parking is a "right" then why is the letter necessary?
I think the OP has the same feeling about the letter as everyone else in that the use of "right" in this context was a poor choice.

I cannot even "boondock" on my own property.
Even though I am the landowner,,,and would gladly give myself permission --- the "Zoning Ordinances" forbid it.
We must adhere to strict regulations to even park one RV on our property. To include not having it in front of the front setback of the house for more than 2 hrs in a 24 hr period, for the express purpose of loading and unloading. "Setting up housekeeping", as they call it, is punishable by a fine of $1,000 per day.
So, I wouldn't push my luck at the local Walmart...or you'll be finding yourself granted an audience with the "Magistrate".

Well, at least the Escapees have finally removed "no slideouts" from their "How to parking lot camp" list. I can't imagine who thought the words "... support your right to park on private businesses’ parking lots overnight ..." were appropriate. There is no "right" to park on someone else's property. It can be gifted or permitted, but that doesn't give a "right" to park. Really ridiculous.
