Zion National Park-South Campground

The South Campground at Zion if first come first served camping without any hookups. Conveniently located near the Visitor's Center where the shuttle buses run every 15 minutes to key points along Zion Canyon. Nearby is the town of Springdale with any services you may require.

The state of Utah has opened the park with state funds during the shutdown.

Baron - beautiful pictures. We had planned to go there this fall and will probably do so in 2014. Thanks for sharing.

Angel's Landing and the Narrows at Zion are both on our top 10 favorite hikes. If you haven't been - definitely go.......

Watchman Campground at Zion takes reservations and has 50A electric. Otherwise same as above. A marvelous place I hope to return to.

All of those campgrounds have fees associated with them. We stayed overnight on Lion Blvd. in Springdale without a problem. We even asked a cop if it was ok.
