10th Anniversary Reunion Rally-May 2012

All WCMC members are invited to register for and attend the next club rally, which will celebrate our FMCA chapter's 10th anniversary.

Registrations continue to arrive almost daily, and we now have over 40 coaches registered. Rally start is less than a month away! Hope to see you there.

IF anyone has mailed their registration and NOT received an email CONFIRMING that it was received....please contact me immediately.

Due to a couple of last minute cancellations, the rally STARTS tomorrow evening with the WELCOME SOCIAL! 40 coaches expected. Many of us are already here, and the normally parched Texas "hill country" is getting some much needed rain. Cooler temps will result and we're looking forward to big fun with friends, both old and new. The resort is first class with wonderful ammenities. Ed

Thanks to our members the "hill Country" is no longer "dry". It POURED here today for hours...right up until a few minutes before the 5:30 social started

Good food and excellent band - 4 old dudes playing a mix of TX swing and Jazz ! Almost nobody left when the after-dinner entertainment started, and dancing in the aisles was observed. Pictures at 11:00

IMO, the two biggest news items coming from the Anniversary Reunion rally are the "mothballing" of the Workhorse company by its parent, Navistar and the change in our Standing Rules to allow former members to register for and attend future rallies, regardless of their current RV type or chassis brand.

Over the years we have enjoyed wonderful support from Workhorse "marketing" and the service group, and we will miss their presence and contributions at our rallies.

The rule change will allow our former member friends who have traded coaches, and thus became ineligible for membership, to attend the club rallies, and enjoy the social friendships created when they were members.

Un-related to the rally, and FYI, the club administration is actively persuing development of a new website, which will allow members to keep up with current events and offer many added features not available through the "old" website. Please keep an eye open for that announcement, and follow WCMC on Facebook and here on iRV2 in the interim.
