Derrick Parker and I are pleased to offer that we are presenting the 2010 East Coast WCMC Rally.

Derrick Parker is the Rally Host
Mike Pelchat is the Assistant Rally Host

After much deliberation and consideration the following dates and location are proposed and have been tentatively booked. The Rally is proposed to begin on Tuesday October 5th, 2010 with the departure being on Saturday October 9th, 2010. Early arrivals are being accepted and those needing those arrangements should contact the campground directly.

The rally is scheduled to be held on the beautiful Cape Hatteras National Seashore at the Camp Hatteras RV Resort and Campground.

Please refer to the Camp Hatteras Site Map.

We have reserved the entire Pamlico Sound area (West of Highway 12) of the campground and there are 91 sites available. There are several dozen overflow sites available on the Atlantic Ocean side as well.

There is a 3000 square feet Conference Center for us to use exclusively which has kitchen facilities.

The amenities of the facility are too numerous for me to list here however one can find out that information by accessing the website.

Some of the highlights in the local area:
· The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse
· Wright Brothers Museum and Kitty Hawk
· Deep Sea Fishing
· The Charles Kuralt Trail
· Ocracoke Island
· 4 Wheel Off Road Driving on the Seashore
· Sail Boarding
· Historical Shipwrecks
Including many more small shops and dining experiences.

We are already signing up outside vendors.

I believe that OBX will be a fun and exciting area in which to hold the club rally in the fall of 2010..

Respectfully submitted,

for Derrick Parker
Rally Master

Mike Pelchat
Assistant Rally Master

Jimmyzw22, These rallies bring together a group of folks that are linked by the use of their Workhorse Chassis. Are you a Workhorse owner?

This rally sounds great and the location is terrific. I want to register, but in your report Mike, you advised of "proposed" dates and locations. Should we wait until it's a definite GO?

Bob, The Club will be mailing out the application forms as soon as the West Coast Rally has finished up. We hope that will coincide with the mailing of the Next Newsletter so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

The dates and location are at this time, "firm." If you have not been to Cape Hatteras it's one of the top 10 RV'ing destinations that I can possibly think of.

Wait until you see the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. They actually moved the thing over land a number of years back in order to save it. It's something to see!

AZHusker, Very good! Thanks for the heads up!

I'll get that new enrollment form posted up in my distribution resources on my computer and delete the app with LeAnn being the named recipient.

Just in case anyone is looking for the new app, could you please post up a link to it?

Are you going to drop the one time registration fee of $10.00 if you register at the Rally?

If so announce it now so some can save the fee.

You did it in Myrtle Beach 2 years ago.

No plans to drop the $10 registration fee at this time, and not aware of any in the future. Thanks.
