YosemiteBobR: THANKS for your question.

As with ALL of iRV2.com, this is an open forum and the whole world is WELCOME to come and read what is said here (that is commonly called "lurking"). ANYONE who is a registered member of iRV2.com has the ability to post to the existing threads OR start a new one-just like you did here with your question.

There is no requirement that you be a "member" of WCMC or of FMCA to participate fully here on iRV2.com

Come on, how many of us actually read all the terms of service? We should I agree, just being honest.

If the equation becomes too imbalanced the member can be asked to modify their method of participation.

When a service such as what is provided here for FREE it is reasonable to expect that the people that use that service should be bound by a set of guidelines that allow full active participation while respecting the civilities of those other members that equally participate.

People have the right to accept this service for FREE or not and the choice is up to you whether or not you agree to be bound by the "Terms of Service". Since the TOS is in clear view, it can not be discarded out of hand. There is no such thing as ignorance of the law in any jurisdiction.

It is well within your right not to accept the TOS however it is also reasonable to expect that you would not out of hand discard those day-to-day rules that make the site enjoyable for all participants. The TOS simply allows the site to apply a remedy in the event a member makes an initiative to abuse those common sensibilities that anyone would expect when meeting other people in a public place.

Thank you for the opportunity to explain the TOS.

Being honest, I am concerned however why you would not agree to be bound by the TOS.

DriVer: The way I read his post he was saying "We should I agree, just being honest" meaning he agrees the TOS should be read, but, being honest, how many really do so. I believe he left out the comma after "we should" which would have made his comment read as I have interpreted it.

Thank YOU for a complete explaination of WHY the TOS exist. You must have been a lawyer in a previous life and I sure hope you don't use those TOS on ME ED

Drive, what did I say so wrong, I didn't mean to offend you in such a way. You told me once in a private email how someone else was being over reactive, perhaps now that has turned around some.

Ed, thank you, I am not a good writer and I find it hard to say what I feel using just words, perhaps I should use more smilies. I meant no discontent or harm to anyone. What a way to start things off.

No apology needed since there was no intent on your part to disagree with the Terms of Service.

Thank you for your response and we'll have to err on the side of the member going forward. I appreciate your participation here.
