So did they deliver all 173 sets by December 2017, the specified delivery date in the article? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes We did... and since that article was written.. there are other support contracts in the works for the A-10..

(I retired from SPD, aircraft/Aerospace transport div.)

One of the finest close air support aircraft ever built.
What doesn't kill you will make you stronger except for an A10 because an A10 will kill you!

The Last Boeing Wing

I did many of the ops checks on the last wing #173. I was there for #1 also. The EWA wings were great and had become streamlined. The return to Legacy wings has been tough.

Knowing A-10's are still around helps me sleep at night.
And to think they even considered de-commissioning them a few years ago.
