This is a great example of air force heros in combat. About an 8 minute video of an aircraft in a terrible situation in the pacific during WW2. They are HEROs.

Thank you so much for this post. Our WW2 heros are being lost at over at thousand per day now and the world is a sadder place with their passing ...

God bless our veterans that defended our freedom while we slept all safe and warm in our beds .........

Wow! Thank you for the link. i'm of the age that my father and some uncles were in WWII. All have passed to the big PX in the sky. My father was navy, 1941-1945. One uncle was an MP on Omaha beach. One uncle has a Bronze Star for his part in the Battle Of The Bulge.

God bless them all.

Thanks for the post Bob. My dad was a Navigator on B-24's during WW-II. That was one hell of a crew.

Bob

Thank you for posting this. My Uncle Bob, spent the majority of the war in a Japanese Prisoner of War Camp....he was in the Philippines, we the Japanese attacked. My Father survived the sinking of the USS California in Pearl Harbor and the sinking of the USS Chicago in the battle of Savo Island. He went on to spend 30 years in the Navy. My Dad would be 94 this yaer if he was still alive, all of my Uncles that served in WWII are all gone now.
I think that all people should remember any Veteran on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
