Canadian Vets travelling in US
We always see a reasonable number of US veterans traveling in Canada, but I wonder about the possibilities of using US military facilities, etc, as many times it seems like we're a forgotten entity. Not a complaint, just like "oh yeah, you folks have a military too?". Almost 30 years lets me wonder if there should be more mutual cross border veteran's support. Does/should this extend to the RV community, & if so, what can anyone tell me? Wife is disabled Cdn vet, I'm recently retired from second career, it's time to start traveling.
All responses/questions welcome.
Thanks!

Thanks, Ray, IN. Had a read of the various services, on the second link
& it is quite non-definitive. Somewhat humourous in that the typical bureaucracy for every government service in most countries has crept in to overwhelm the situation. Based on this read through, I would be disinclined to attempt camping at these locations without first hand information. As a retired O-3(from the ranks), your thoughts are appreciated!
Thank you!

Don't have the answer to your question but if you find yourself on I-75 between Dayton and Cincinnati, OH your certainly welcome to spend a night or two here at the house.
We have 50 amp and water, sewer too if my coach is not here using it.
Always happy to help another vet when I can.

Generous offer from a fellow vet
Thank you, sdennislee, your offer is very kind! It will be a while before we would be in a position to accept your generousity, as we are just starting out on the RV exploration, & won't be doing much long distance for the immediate future. We still have one in school(senior) attending Air Cadet camp as a staff member prior to starting his enrollment process into the canadian military this fall. After that, serendipity takes over!
Looking forward to becoming semi-professional gypsies once again.

As a retired U.S military member RVing in Canada, my experience has been that we reciprocate with Canada as they do us.
