Defense Mobile
I have been getting e-mail from Military.com advertising the new Defense Mobile no contract mobile phone network Military.com 8/18 — DEFENSE MOBILE.
Has anyone switched to them from Verizon and if so have you noticed any difference in your level of phone service?
It's time to upgrade from the old flip phone to a smart phone and Verizon will increase my bill so I am looking for alternatives.

Search here for defense mobile there has been some discussion on here. We have Verizon and there is a discount for Retired military. Good luck.

I found the discussion. What I am looking for is people actually using the system. Interested in knowing if like Verizon if there is no Verizon tower available if it switches to what ever is available and that there is no roaming charge or if you just experience a dead zone. Hopefully someone out there has signed up and has real life expreience.

We are also looking at switching from Verizon to Defense Mobile but have some reservations, however, as of this week their website says they now are using
Verizon towers. Would be interested in hearing from anyone using DF Mobile and their experience. With the Verizon discount and unlimited data still on one line it is hard to give it up.

We are also looking at Defense Mobile. They must be a reseller of services like Millenium was and is now defunct. I really don't want to go down that road again, but would really like to be part of the DM progam if it will be around. I guess part of that is it will only last if it is supported by those of us that are eligible.

hey guys...my first post obviously has to be military!! lol 18yrs Army right now, still kicking.
Anyways, i went with defense Mobile in Nov 2015 and since then haven't had a single complaint. they use multiple carriers towers so my service is always great. i have a 2 phone plan. me and my wife its unlimited talk and text with 6gig of data for 95 bux a month.
So just throwing out my experience so far!!
PS all it really is basically is a prepaid service. No contracts
