Tri Care will pay for a eye exam every two years. Also if you live close to a military base you can take your prescription into the optometry department and get a pare of glasses ordered if you are retired military.

Boy, reasons 1 and 4 seem a bit vague compared to the other two!

*You didn't have access to a telephone or the internet for the entire duration of the Federal Benefits Open Season
*You had a significant medical emergency for yourself or an immediate family member and you were unable to perform your requested action for a significant portion of the Federal Benefits Open Season
*A member of your immediate family passed away and you were unable to perform your requested action during the Federal Benefits Open Season
*You attempted to call or enroll online during Open Season but were unsuccessful

I can honestly say I didn't have telephone or internet access for the ENTIRE duration as I did sleep!

Keep in mind_ you're now dealing with the federal government vs military.
