Disability checks?

Does anyone know if the Gov. shut down carries on past Feb.1, will we receive our February checks as usual?

I'm just received my latest one. Not sure about after Feb. but I don't think so. I don't think you should worry about it. IMO...you should be fine. If you're hearing scare tactics on the TV, turn OFF the TV.

Got my retirement deposit during this shutdown.

I remember when there used to be a federal budget, that would not pass by Oct 1st.
Then they delayed payment to active duty and retirees. But only lasted a couple of days.

DOD and VA budgets had already been approved. No shutdown for them.

Congress should not get a paycheck until they fix this.

Oh no problem for the military people in the Coast Guard....They can have Yard Sales and do dog walking services along with babysitting.

I am totally fed up with this kind of thing. This is just completely unacceptable.

Opm posted that list in 2013 during the shutdown. It was "inadvertently " reposted
