Thanks MrChips for that site. However, it is not correct for Wisconsin. Wisconsin does offer free entrance to state parks for disabled vets. Residents only though.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, it is an electrical problem.

I recently contacted Michigan Department of Natural Resources about veteran discounts, specifically 100% disabled. Here's how the correspondencs went:

Me,
I am a 100% disabled veteran wishing to camp throughout your state.
Does Michigan offer any sort of discount to veterans?

Their reply,
Thank you for your email to the Parks and Recreation Division of the DNR. 100% disabled veterans are exempt from purchasing the Recreation Passport. Discounts apply for Michigan and non-Michigan residents. There are not currently any camping discounts.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Brown

Parks and Recreation Division
Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

In essence just the entrance pass/fee is waived. For what it's worth.
