These things are always touching and ever true. My youngest daughter is doing a tour in Iraq. I pray for her safety daily. I do not pray that she will do her job, I know she will do whatever it takes to make sure her soldiers are well taken care of.

Wayne, Thank you for posting such a wonderful Tribute to our fellow Marines. A year ago my brother-in-law, a retired fellow Marine, GySgt Jack Loomis reported for duty at Heavens Gates after a long fight with cancer. He served a few tours in Nam and was awarded three Purple Hearts. I will be visiting with his family this New Years and will be sure to show them this. As the story shows there is an unwavering brotherhood among us who have served in the Marine Corps past and present. As the saying goes, Once a Marine, Always a Marine.

Semper Fi My Brother

Respectfully,
SgtJoe

What an awesome tribute to some of the best in the Military. I have two grandsons who are army rangers on their third tour in Iraq and can only pray they are with the Marines.

I echo my thank you with the others for sharing such a fitting tribute to our brave young men and women who've made the extreme sacrifice protecting our freedom and our country.

May the Lord grant them all eternal peace in His loving care.
