Just thought I mention this about Oregon State Parks.
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer free camping and day-use to veterans with a service-connected disability and active military on leave.

If you are a Veteran with a Service Connected Disability rated at 30% or higher you can camp for Free in any Oregon State Park Campground for up to 10 days every month.
Your camping is limited to 5 Free days per stay at a single Park and a maximum of 10 days per month in the State Park system.

Thanks for posting that.

It has been our experience that most states offer this only to their resident veterans. I read everything and found no mention of residency requirements.

Louisiana State Parks also accept the Golden Access Pass for a 50% discount. I understand there is another state that also does, but I don't know which one. Anyone know?

I have stayed a few time & my MH has Colorado plates & a Colorado address no one has questioned ne about getting the Free stay.

Active Duty personell on leave (just show them your leave papers) can camp for free at Beaver Lake, Ark. The COE parks. The person on the gate may not know about it but you just tell them your sure.

WA, CA, AZ require you to be a resident, OR does not. I have both WA and OR passes and use them a lot. Very nice parks.

Arkansas gives disabled veterans a 50% discount if you have doccumentation to show them, such as VA disability letters. State residency is not a requirement.
