I saw that QVC dropped her because of the stuff she pulled during the War. About time someone reminded her that nothing has been forgotten or forgiven!

We will never forget nor forgive. She will always be remembered as a traitor. That is the legacy she sought and got.

Amen.
Many times we all have to learn that there are consequences to our actions. ....sometimes good, sometimes not. My thoughts haven't changed - I still believe that no 'star' has the right to use their position (and freedom) to put forth their political agenda in a public manner. It's simply inexcusable and self-centered.

Like most men, I spoil my wife. ( i bought her a BMW roadster for her 67th birthday) She wanted a hanoi jane exercize video several years ago. I told her that she would have to go out and get a job and buy it with her money. I would not give that traitor a dime of my money. (actually it is our money)

Totally agree. I did not, and do not, believe that her apology was sincere. Her subsequent actions speak more than the words. Will change the channel on the TV anytime she appears. Generally very forgiving, but not in this case.

In early 2001, our 4 member coroporate marketing team was travelling Northern Nevada, staying at the former Reno Hilton (now the Grand Sierra) for a couple of days. After checking in, we met at one of the hotel's nicer restaurants for dinner and wind-down. About half way through our dinner, 3 women were escorted to and seated in the booth directly adjacent to ours. Didn't give it any thought...people like us having a late dinner.
After about 5 minutes, one of our team members said "Don't look now, buy I swear that is Jane Fonda in the booth behind us." We all fell silent. After listening to the women's conversation for a minute or two, we all agreed that it SURE sounded like Fonda. Within a moment or two, the two guys who could look around us and directly at the booth agreed....it WAS Jane Fonda, sitting accross from 2 other women. A feeling of revulsion swept over 3 of us....the 4th was pretty young and had no real recollection of her. The other 3 of us sure did. I can't really find the words to describe how freaking disgusted I was to be sitting and eating within 4 or 5 feet of this pitiful excuse of a person....especially being an Army veteran. One of our team (who had a close relative killed in VNam) was becoming agitated, so we didn't stay for the customary after-dinner drinks.
As we left and slowly passed the booth, none of us said anything....although I sure wanted to. Passing the table, Hanoi Jane glanced up at me....and I at her. I wanted so bad to make a face or say something. I slowed just a bit...and heard the Boss behind me say "Cmon, Dave, don't give her the courtesy of knowing who she is." He said it loud enough that we all agreed she heard the comment.
We gathered outside the restaurant and exchanged numerous curse words and "would have liked to's". Our group's youngest member still had a hard time understanding our feelings....and that is to be expected, I guess. But without too much more ado, we quickly proceeded to the roulette tables where several "free" drinks were had by all. Interesing day, for sure!
Funny. As much as I loathe Jane Fonda, I enjoy some of her films, especially "On Golden Pond". (Her Father, Henry Fonda, is one of my all-time favorites....NEVER miss his films on the old movie channels.) But IMHO, she will be remembered most, not for her films or exercise machines....but for her deceit, disrespect and dishonor. I suspect, and hope, that I may not be the only person that feels that way.

I was delighted that at least one show gave her the boot. Several years ago while on active duty with the txarng, we did PT every morning at 0500, it was cold, raining and alerting so inside the OCS assembly area we go. They had huge tv screens. The chief of staff (col) says it was going to be aerobics and hands one of his videos to facilitator. It was Hanoi Jane.
We stood there in total shock at his lack of respect for us. We refused to watch the video or do the exercises. He proceeded to tell us what a great American she was, then marched us out into 36 degree temps for a 5 mile run to allow us time to think, and think we did, all of us who were combat vets, ran or walked as a group and very vocal about Hanoi Jane.
By the time the run was over the first of the Austin Tv station reporters were on hand.
Several of us nam vets dropped by the General's quarters to express our displeasure and offers to resign our commissions if need be. MG Wilson had never served a day in combat but he backed us.
Screw Hanoi Jane, may she rot in he'll.. The sooner the better
By the time the run was over, we were showered and dressed, the first of the local TV station reporters was on site.
