Thanks.
I have found sites readily available, about a week or two in advance. All the MILCAMPS have their own unique reservation system. I don't like to be restricted with ressies, so do it on the fly with the aforementioned guidelines...

We completed our 8th trip to Florida with a safe return to NJ. A great trip was marred however by the passing of my dear friend Howie. Met with Joe on the return trip and had one final Happy Hour in his memory. Kings Bay won't be the same without my Army buddy........

'CaptainBud', we sincerely hope to see you folks for a 9th trip south. As the de facto commander of Camp Eagle Hammock, we appreciate your leadership -- 'Howie' will still be patrolling the perimeter!

Military Campgrounds

Recently purchased a 2000 Beaver Patriot/w cat diesal, 39k miles. Pulling honda crv. Having coach serviced and will be hitting the road soon from pawleys island sc. Making a short trip to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. They have a new campground their so we will give it a try just to get used to it. Will be there 3 4 5 6 aug. Will have the opportunity to view a graduation and explore beaufort. I retired from USMC from yuma in 1991 so we will plan alot of our trips around military bases such as key west which we plan on visiting in dec/jan/feb. Kings bay, ga sounds good will have to check that one out. Sierra Vista, AZ sounds good out west. New adventure for us and we are looking forward to it. Hope to meet ya'll. Tally Ho

Captain Bud -- we will be at King's Bay on 1 Nov -- hope we see you and other 'old friends'. Looking forward to meeting new folks and enjoying the fellowship of other retirees.

Bud, It's nice to see you posting again. Colleen and I send our best regards to Ruthie and the puppies.
