In case you are interested the NAS Key West Facebook page has posted a copy of the CO’s campground update. In a nut shell they are opening on 12/27/17 with a limit of 20 reservations per day until 01/15/18.

NO...MWR & AF famcamps are not appropriated funds activities. With that said Kars Park at The Kennedy Space Center told the campers there they had to leave by Monday..... today.
The Mil camping website says their a "non-appropriated funds as well....go figure.

Does anyone know if the CG eased up on the walk thru gate to Trumbo Road, or is it still restricted?

When we left in late March it was still closed. If you have Facebook an inquiry on the Sigsbee Shufflers page can get you updates if/when things change. Also be aware of the new reservation system.
