Not staying there now, but we stayed there for a while while last time that we were between houses summer before last. We hope to use it in a couple of weeks to use as a weekend "shakedown cruise" for the Vista we bought back in November.

On our way out of Washington state last August we went through Nevada and stopped by Nellis. We had been there before but not in the summer!! The metal on my car trailer was so hot that I could hardly touch it!! We ended up staying for a week at a hotel in Vegas. But I have to say, the RV park at Nellis is a great place. It is very clean and well laid-out. And very close to the hospital thank goodness, because I had to make a quick trip to the emergency room while there. We do plan on going back, just not in August.

Can a person get in there in late Mar or early Apr? Would like to spend a week or so there and use that for a base camp.

Call now and make reservations. The number is 702 643 3060. That's close to the time people start leaving so maybe no problem but call ASAP just in case
