A well deserved warning.

Don't think it would be wise to voice that complaint to one of us!

They'd find an unamused and perhapps hostile audience.

Not the first or last time for this to happen.

When training and preparation meets opportunity things are handled professionally and with certainty. His words were part of his training and delivered without malice but without equivocation as well. I'm sure the recipients responded in kind and embarrassed as well they should have been.

I'll hazard a guess no complaint was made and no rancor was felt by the young soldier----in the line of duty---he did his job---nothing more---mission accomplished---respect and honor restored. He was prepared to do more if called upon but the matter was ended.

Thumbs up... But it IS the rules when visiting the Tomb, and the people laughing and carrying on were in violation.. He was doing his job.

Dirk,
Good one! Thanks for sharing. I doubt anyone would dare complain. It probably occurred to them right at that moment that those names on the wall were real people, who fought and died, and that the guard somehow had the eyes of thousands, suddenly aware, and watching. The sheep are always fearful of the sheep dogs, until the wolf appears in the flock.

Glad I was not there when this happened. Best that I do not respond lest I become upset toward this ''giggler'' and say things that may get me into trouble again.
God bless our troops ........
