Hi, I'm not a GI but did spend a week at Shades of Green in early December 2006. Myself and two friends did a girlfriend trip to WDW. The hotel is nice, newly remodeled. Our room was large with two queen beds, a couch and the usual 2 chairs and table. We also overlooked the golf course and had chairs on the balcony. There was a small fridge and we found the bathroom plenty large enough for 3 girls .

We ate at the buffet and restaurant and both were ok, not outstanding. We didn't eat at any of the snack type places. There are two gift type shops which we enjoyed. The lobby was restful and decorated nicely for Christmas.

The bus transportation left promptly every morning and seemed to run right on schedule.

Our room was on the second floor on the left and was at the far end of the hall so it was very quiet.

I have been told that Shades of Green has the largest standard room on the property. We found everyone to be polite and helpful.

There is a $5 a day parking fee if you park in the parking garage even if you never move the car.

Any other questions?
