The B-52 drop at the 1:00 mark was awesome. Modern airpower is great, but it's hard to beat them old round motors.

While I understand patriotism why not celebrate some other things the USA does that do not involve the death of people? Like the advances in cancer treatment and the treatment of CP. We spend 54 cents out of every tax dollar on war. If we took 15 % of that money we could solve all our countries ills like citizens with no health care and the starving children in the inner cities, infant death on a par with Africa and education that is not going to allow the US to thrive in a world economy. The burgeoning debt. Celebrate that while watching your video. We make choices all the time to allow our own citizens to die so that we can fight another war in another foreign country. I'm not particularly proud of that.
I am just saying that airpower is not the way to a prosperous economy and food in peoples mouths.

Not going to let you have it Paul because your right to a degree. None of the issues you mention are under siege like our freedom. Every issue you mention is being address at this very moment. Maybe not as aggressively as we may like but they're being address. But if we don't have freedom those issues will never be address as aggressively as they are now; and what you see in that video is our freedom. Perhaps when the terrorists are neutralized and the aggressive regimes of the world want to live in peace we can achieve the goals you describe, but in the meantime what you see in that video is necessary to prevent us from becoming a third world country.

Good idea, why don't you start another thread on how wonderful we are...and we are. However, without "the death of people"...certain people and peoples, we would all be speaking either German or Japanese.

I once had the pleasure of seeing a Yankee Air Force air show. They are based in Ypsilanti (Near Ann Arbor) Michigan. Alas, following that show (Years later) they had afire in their hanger and lost much of their inventory.. They were able to save a few planes but all this stuff is basically impossible to replace.
The museum is just off I-94 between Ann Arbor and Detroit. Not all that far from Camping World.

Yes, people can say whatever they want--perhaps they would have the good sense to start their own threads rather than poking in others.
I'm a C-17 pilot myself, and fondly remember making my own class' video in pilot training at Vance. Some GREAT footage there of C-17's. Thanks for sharing.
