Great photos I served my AIT at Rucker in 69 Huey Crewchief then on to Nam.

Neighbor down the road had a Cobra ( bought in an auction ) from the Cav. He has it mounted as a wind vane sure looked good. Lasted a couple years till the goverment took it away about a year ago. The Cobra was from the Cav 1/9 stationed at the same base as us Phoc Vihn. I sure miss looking at the best looking wind vane too.

I was way down south, did many photo things from the back seat of a bird dog, and supported a lot of artillery. I ran an engine maintenance shop. Replace many engines and did a lot of test flights from the back seat. Bird dogs sure had a place. Thanks for your service.
