I spend two years aboard the "Dodo" as a Marine Communicator. It was a fun two years. I could have extended my tour and got Vietnam over with earlier than I did. I was aboard from August 1962 through August 1964. In 1964 the Gulf of Tonkin had an incident and since I was scheduled to rotate the 1st Sgt asked me and one other if we wanted to extend. I had a 6 month old son I had not seen, so I declined. We both did, as Larry's EOS was up.

Anyhow, here are some links I received, and The El Dorado is now listed. I know the links have been posted before, but this is just an update for Dodo riders.
