First wedding anniversary and still trying to get over being the parents of identical twin boys born on Veterans Day (11-11); I was a USAF veteran. I had sold my motorcycle and traded in my 1964 Olds 442 (C Stock at Lions Drag Strip) for an old married mans car, a 1966 Olds Delta 88 coupe with 365 HP.

I was a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff and the memories of the Watts and Detroit riots were still fresh. We were waiting for our first home to be built in Diamond Bar, CA, 3 decades before CA became a S---hole.

Senior year in high school Lakewood, Calif........boy how i wish i could go back in time and re-live those moments. My first car 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop. Cruising Bellflower Blvd, Hody's, Oscars and the famous Harvey's Broiler. Law enforcement was so cool back then, many a time just had us pour out our "open container". And don't forget all of the drive-ins theaters.
